Whether you read the books before watching the movie or not, it is easy to fall in love with the Twilight story. Twilight is a movie based on the first book in the Twilight saga by Stephenie Meyer. The book and movie focus on the some what typical story of teenage love, the shy girl, Bella Swan, falling for the gorgeous but out of reach guy Edward Cullen. But this guy is different. From the outside Edward, looks like a gorgeous loner, but it turns out there is more to it than that, it turns out Edward is a vampire. This adds a wonderful twist the story with them falling in love even though Edward thirsts for Bella’s blood.
The movie has brought in a hugely a diverse group of movie goers. Although targeted for mainly teen girls, the Twilight books are popular with all the ladies, including the Twilight Moms. These movies also attract those who love a good vampire story. Can vampires be good and live amongst us all? That is the mystery that keeps us watching. Well, it is either that or Rob Pattinson who plays our Edward.
Girls everywhere have gone Ga-Ga for this young British actor. Robert Pattinson was previously seen in a Harry Potter movie which had their own big hype, but nothing could have prepared Rob for this. Grown women are begging him to bite them, including Tyra Banks. That has to be weird.
Rob isn’t the only big name in the movie, the movie also stars Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Jackson Rathbone, Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene, and Kellan Lutz and they are just a few of the big names poking up in this movie. Kristen Stewart does a fabulous role as Bella Swan, bringing her alive and out of our imagination. People everywhere have fallen in love with this movie and its cast. It is definitely the movie of the year.
